Hello!

I’m a Norwegian-American musician living in Tromsø, Norway. I have a 20% position teaching music in the prison and to the addict community outside of prison. I direct a ukulele choir of nurses at the UNN hospital. I also work as an instructor with Flere Farger/Fargespill Tromsø. I have several personal music projects – among them Gypsy Chicken, which is the most photographed.

Before I moved to Tromsø I lived 22 years in North Dakota, USA and one year in Limpopo province, South Africa.

I am first and foremost a vocalist and song-writer, strong on music theory with a classical background from the US. Vocally, I experiment a lot and sing everything from visesanger to hiphop to growling. I am an acceptable multi-instrumentalist otherwise – strong on rhythm – with experience on piano, electric bass, violin, guitar, ukulele, baritone ukulele, djembe, cajon, washboard, and banjo.
