Oslo Internasjonale Flamenco-festival er i gang!



Welcome to Oslo International Flamenco Festival.
It is an event where we promote the flamenco art, music, dance, and cultural diversity.

March (free event) 18:00 – Tukthuset Restaurant opens its doors for us and will serve Spanish tapas with a great Chef from Spain, wine, a tempting drinks menu from their bar, great music and a dance floor! Free Sevillanas workshop!

April 20:00 (Riksscenen) – Nacida Sombra – inauguration of the festival with one of the most important Spanish Company’s – Rafaela Carrasco

6. & 7 April (Riksscenen) – Dance, cante and percussion Workshops hold by world-famous flamenco dancer and choreograph Rafaela Carrasco in collaboration with the great Andalusian flamenco singer Sara Holgado, percussionist Francois Taifeller and guitar by Jesus Morente. https://www.facebook.com/events/320950751875737/

April 11:00 (Riksscenen)- Flamenco for kids
The artists of the festival and a great magician guest from Jerez, Spain accompany us to give a musical performance to the children, one of our favorite audience!

April (Riksscenen) – Barataria Teatro
From 18:00 Barataria will sell delicious Spanish tapas!
And will give us a great Spanish theatrical performance (20 minutes).

April (Riksscenen) 18:00 – Flamenco catwalk

Flamenco y mas from Sevilla will present original flamenco designs and will sell diverse products for dancers.

April 19:00 (Riksscenen) – Volver flamenco performance . «To return,» how men and women from different eras throughout their music have expressed their era of repression, by breaking traditions, screaming, or whispering to be heard.

April 18:00 (Vega Kino)- Impulso Documentary Film . In collaboration with Tilde Filmklubb and Vega Scene are proud to present the Documentary film «Impulso» (2017) by Emilio Belmonte, featuring internationally celebrated flamenco dancer Rocio Molina, for the first time (and for only one showing) in Norway!

7. April – Photo exhibition with Eduardo del Valle & Målfrid Sand. We are happy to present the photo exhibition EVOCA during the flamenco festival!

31 March – 7th April: Sociocultural workshops and concerts. An important part for the festival is to share the art at nursing homes and refugees centers. Amazing people!
