Support concert for earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria

A support concert will be held 22 March, which will present a wide selection of artists who will come together to show solidarity and raise money for vital rescue work.
A humanitarian disaster unfolded in Turkey and Syria in February. The strongest earthquake in 100 years has left 1.5 million people homeless and at least half a million new homes must be built. Even more precarious is the immediate need for life-saving help, water, food, clothing and medicine.

In both Turkey and Syria, intense work is underway to save lives and to find people who are still trapped in ruins. The earthquake disaster is the biggest in Turkey's history, says the UN representative for the development program in Turkey.

Cosmopolite, Nasjonal Jazzscene, Verdensfolk and Interkultur organise a support concert on 22 March and present a wide selection of artists who come together to show solidarity and raise money for vital rescue work.

The ticket revenue from the concert goes entirely to the Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders and UNICEF.
