WHAT IS BALUBA?
Samspill invites musicians to work with producers and resource persons in the music field to develop their concert production for children and young people. We follow the artists from the idea stage through the entire process until a finished product. Participants will receive feedback and artistic guidance, and good advice on the way to developing a finished production. We mediate and contribute to booking at established stages and concert venues for children and youth.
Established organisers and producers of children's culture are constantly looking for new performers for their stages, especially musicians with multicultural backgrounds. In this way, we can contribute to reflecting the multicultural Norway in several ways. This is a good opportunity for musicians who have a concert they want to work on, or who want to convey their music in new ways. It is not necessary to have a finished production to participate.

Listen to B-Da Sufi, one of our prior participant's experiences from BALUBA:
We experience that there is a great demand for new concerts and productions from musicians with stories and experiences from other parts of the world. Established organisers and producers of children's programs are constantly looking for voices from multicultural Norway.
SAMSPILL IS ALSO INVOLVED IN THESE PRODUCTIONS:
Kulturtanken, Riksscenen, Sagene Samfunnshus, Nordic Black Theatre & Cafeteatret, Asker Kulturhus, Marked for Musikk, Stoppested Verden, Barnas Verdensdager, Kloden teater og Rabalderfestivalen i Tromsø.
