Samspill Sessions was created as a result of being prevented from organising concerts in spring 2020 due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in Norway. We normally collaborate with Cafe Sør on the concert series Sunday World, where new artists and new projects get to showcase themselves on one of Oslo's bustling live stages.

The remaining six concerts planned for the spring Sunday World programme were therefore turned into live recordings of selected songs from Cafeteatret in Oslo. Wanting to offer artists and audiences something meaningful during a difficult period, we quickly put together an alternative offering. Bernt Isak Wærstad stod for lyden, og Elisa Bates for videoproduksjonen.
