Skattekista at Schous!

A family day with folk culture from far and near!

Our friends at Riksscenen are opening their treasure chest Sunday 27th August, and from it flows folk music and folk dance from all over the world! And best of all – the children get to join in! In the backyard outside Riksscenen, there will be free activities with lovely food stalls from all corners of the world, fiddle playing and godkar pieces, Turkish ebru painting, Indian rangoli and Sami joik in the lavvo. Inside there will be workshops and performances with Afro street dance, passionate flamenco, suggestive darbuka rhythms and a seductive oriental orchestra. The real treasures are everything you experience, what you see, hear and get to be a part of. Join the treasure hunt!

On this day, many Samspill members are performing, and the program outside already starts at 11:30!
