KLEPSYDRA is an Oslo-based band featuring Juan Carlos Gomez Herrera on vocals and guitars, Antonio Torner on drums, Gerardo Orrego on bass guitar and Harald Galåen on keyboards. The band has played in several locations in Norway.
The members met and began to play together in 2001 with the desire to develop Juan Carlos’ earlier compositions. Gradually, the band evolved in the direction of a mixture of Caribbean and European musical images, with all musicians contributing to develop the sound of the band. This has resulted in a unique and peculiar interplay, where pop, rock and Latin-American rhythms meet.
